The real controversy surrounding Saturday’s Hibs vs Rangers game was the Rangers fans disgusting disruption of the minutes applause to commemorate the passing of former Hibernian owner Sir Tom Farmer. A majority of them disrupted the commemoration with the “Billy Boys” an Ibrox favourite including the line “up to our knees in fenian blood” As usual , the BBC chose to ignore the Rangers supporters behaviour , a culture of sweeping that behaviour under the carpet that defines BBC Scotlands football coverage.

What a relief to eventually hear an informed, articulate pundit willing to break from the usual cliches and challenge the status quo. More of Gemma please.
