This show works because Dax is vulnerable and honest. The celebrity interviews are different than any other podcast. I think this is because he's vulnerable, celebs are able to let thier guard down and they see him as a peer. I find it pertinent to say Monica adds to the show, she does not take away. I hate that people are negative towards her in reviews because I think she too, is kind hearted, honest and vulnerable. All around great podcast!

I love the content of this podcast but I had to stop listening to it due to the dialog pauses and breaks being cut out to the point where there is absolutely no white space or natural pauses in the conversation at all in the show. It’s exhausting listening to it. Pitty as I really like the content.

I came back to this podcast after many years away to listen to a specific guest. Unfortunately, I didn’t hear the guest speak much, as Dax and Monica spent most of the time talking about themselves. Moreover, what has happened to the editing of this pod?! Cutting milliseconds out between words and phrases, jamming totally diff convos together with no flow between? It’s so unnerving and unnatural. It doesn’t feel like an engaging conversation. I kept thinking my phone as skipping ahead for some reason. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back into the fold.
