The stories are compelling, the investigation is top notch, and I truly appreciate Jonathan's drive to get these con artists convicted and his genuine support of other victims. The show does a good job of balancing the story so it's not glorifying the con artist. It can be a bit repetitive, especially if you're binging a season, I feel like 8 episodes could be boiled down to 5 very easily. And like others have mentioned, I get monitizing but there are SO many ads. And they don't seem vetted...like advertising for a psychic service seems to conflict with the theme of the show

First off, I appreciate his time and career in television. I myself have almost 20 years experience as a senior producer on what was the largest show in the world at the time so I feel my opinions and criticisms are valid. Recently wife put this on during a road trip thinking I would enjoy it. We started on season six. I wanted to crash the car into a gas truck at full speed. There was a hairdresser in season six who had the worst vocal inflections I’ve ever heard and must have said “like” 300 times in 20 minutes. Also the audio mix was terrible. After the anti-climactic ending to that season, I decided to give it another try and start from season 1. Big mistake. The lawyer neighbor had god awful vocal fry. It was so bad I couldn’t imagine anyone ever hiring her as an attorney. Also, the voice over actors and actresses for the reenactments are terrible. They serve no point other than to derail the story. I sincerely do not believe anyone listens to this show during postproduction.
